Thanks Sarah.

Tim.Try to sow earlier, was very late sowing. Still only got very green toms and have only just picked beans this week.

flowerlady

Well at least you have toms ... love green tom chutney    :-\ ::)   ;) ;D
To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven: a time to be born and time to die: a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted.     Ecclesiastes, 3:1-2

Lorna, I know it seems like autumn but we've still got at least 2 months to get your toms ripe, looking good to me  ;D

Hyacinth

They'll ripen Lorna....bit of patience and once the first has started.......they'll all be doin it ;D

Your carrots are 100% better looking that the fluorescent uniform specimens in the supermarkets - and bet they taste 100% better too.

AND....the beans are great.

Well done 8)

Mrs Ava

Hey lady, you are further on that me!  It all looks great and those toms look perfect and BIG!  Next year exhibiting at  Chelsea I suppose you meant.  ;) ;) ;D

OllieC

Well, you had me stumped as to what I was looking for... looks great!

lorna

Big grin. I feel better already. Emma I am surprised that the carrots are  misshapen, grew those in a trough so no stones or anything to knock against. I have some others in loo rolls in the famous black buckets. Leaving them for a while as there is a little competition going on between 7 members of A4A ;D
Have also got a row in one of the raised beds so fingers crossed. The seeds for those toms were sent to me by Lish.
Lorna.
PS the runners were delicious.

kitten

Lorna, you're already better than me mate  :-X  We've got no toms, no carrots (none even sown yet!) and no runners yet - warms the cockles don't it  ;)  ;D
Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened

jennym

They look good to me!  Toms will ripen soon enough as has been said. I can't grow carrots to save my life :D

Biscombe

Lorna I'm lusting over your runner beans, mine are finished! can't keep em going for long in Spain!! too ruddy hot  8)

Emagggie

Great stuff Lorna. Only beans  here, no toms ripe as yet. I can't grow carrots for love nor money either, like jennym! Enjoy your harvest. ;D
Smile, it confuses people.

lorna

Other than runner beans and toms anything else in edibles is a first for me. I love spring onions and have scoffed all of them. Maybe I should sow some more :)
Hate parsnips but have got some in a bucket. (must be somebody in the family who will like them)

Hyacinth

.......and for those of you who are coveting Lorna's carrits........she doesn't even like eating them overmuch :o

Hi Lorna, your toms look just like mine & it's the first time I've ever had custody of a tomato plant ( freebie from neighbour) and I'm dead chuffed!  Off to the lottie now to pick the first beans from this plot and coo lovingly at the three carrots that germinated in the rubble sack pot.  I think you're doing just fine.
is it in the sale?

I reckon you were just fishing for compliments, Lorna. ;D
