Allotments 4 All

The weather today was  :o

When the flat roof over the garage flooded, it reminded me I hadn't cleared the fallen leaves from the drainer in the corner  ::)

When the newly made, this autumn, pallet topper back fence blew down, it reminded me I hadn't banged in the nails on the diagonal to the uprights  ::)

When the puddles on the front drive paving stones on the passenger side of the car were up to the welts on the shoes, it reminded me I hadn't levelled them in the autumn  ::)

The weather is a great reminder  :)

I must go and check the allotment tomorrow :-\ I wanted to do it today but the weather was so awful.

dreading going to see what damage has been done from yesterday,I got a e-mail that our lotty was hit by a TORNADO! :'(it was to late last night to go and see the damage, was told that at lest 12 sheds were fire wood! the weather was awfull we live in a small village ,I don't know if anyones been hurt,will keep yous informed of the damage we;er going down soon.

We are to be hit by more rain and 75mph winds to night here in the north west
so its batten down the hatches and pray. its all quiet at the moment just raining no wind, the temp  is 6.1c The river Ribble wich runs down the side of the allotments must be high with all the rain so lets hope it dont flood over

Very gusty here through Wednesday but drier.

Horrible morning, horrendous wind and just started to rain heavily (just as the children are walking to school). As far as I can see only one 4ft fencing panel down, but as that is only a panel that divides part of the garden it can stay down until the weather improves :(

seriously blowy, the cat nearly went over as she was having her mad 5 minutes running up and down the garden, and there are plenty of fences down..I hope it dies down by Saturday  :)

The wind blew the top  glass of my bay window in the kitchen last night !!
not as windy-thank god,  temp is 7.3c  with an overnight low of 5.0c
so im off to get plywood as a temp repair for the window   ba****d wind.

Very windy here no damage so far spent the morning at a friends house which was fun as there was a load of workmen trying to do some work on the roof were not sure what there up to there either fitting solar panels or adding skylight. Seam to be using more than there own body weight in rope to hold themsleves onto to roof at the moment than doing anything else :)

Windy, wet this morning, but it's a bit milder.

Dry and cold with the sun out for most of the day warming up as the day went on.   8)

trouble is  this mild weather wont kill off all the nastys lurking around

Not a bad Sunday - dry and mild. 

    A little late but just about to fix the flower-boxes onto the new bungalow's front wall before it gets too dark.

Stopped raining at the moment, sky dark so more to come. With a temp of
8.5c its quit mild compaired to last year at this time.

Started off bright this morning, but now clouding over.  Shame as I was hopeing to do some pruneing after lunch.

A marvelously mild Monday ending with an hour or two of gentle rain after dark.

So much nicer than this time last year.  :)
