Today we had Bangers and mash, with runner beans and gravy.
I grew the spuds, runners and the onions for the gravy, [(not allowed to keep pigs!)  ];)

I have to say i am quite chuffed with the variety of stuff we have grown and eaten considereing first year with the little allotment

I made a pumpkin and bean cobbler, Theres a layer of homegrown big-size pumpkin precooked with rosemary topped with a layer of my precooked homegrown dried beans, tomatoes, onion and spinach with a crumble type topping of self-raising flour, cornmeal and oats, etc.

Its my own recipe to use those big pumpkins and dried beans, very tasty too.

try it,  :)
