Allotments 4 All

I am sorry but I have some sad news. Pauline, Merlins Mum on here, passed away on Sunday the 23rd March from liver failure.  Pauline's husband has agreed to this post and asked me to 'keep it  short and sweet, as Pauline was'.  I think that says it all really. 

I'm going to miss her for all the fun we had exchanging 'correspondence' between our two cats, Merlin and Tiger. Here's a quote from one of her posts which I think demonstrates what a great sense of humour Pauline had. 

"Merlin to Tiger, Merlin to Tiger.  Have patches just like that but there is some that desperately needs cutting.  But I don't mind as sometimes you can find a little toad underneath.  Mum says I mustn't hurt them as they are a gardeners friend.  I'm not that interested in them tbh as they don't leap about like frogs do!  I have discovered that Lincolnshire has sparrows too and one flew into my mouth the other day.  No one seemed keen on me bringing it inside but I just wanted to show them.  Humans eh?"

I'm sure that you will wish to join me in sending condolences to Pauline's friends and family.

Such sad news.  Our thoughts are with her family at this hardest of times.

  :'(  :'(  :'(   We shared some lovely emails all about our hens...and cats  :)  I remember Pauline being so tickled with my photo of Spook on the bird table.   She made me laugh,she was so friendly,am really shocked and sad about this news.

My thoughts go out to her family.

I please want to be included to all that's been already said. Pauline was a great cyber-friend and I shall miss her, and her contributions here, a lot.  RIP Pauline.

So sorry to hear about Merlins Mum.  I remember those funny posts sent between your cats, Georgie, they really made me laugh.  ;D 

Pauline had a great sense of humour and will be very much missed by her family and her friends on here.
