Hi All, This pic of a sunrise over the castle was taken by a work colleague of mine, it is a sunrise on Holy Island (Lindisfarne) or Fraggle Rock as it's known to us locals!!
Hope you all like.

Sorry Wayne there's nothing showing except a red cross in a box.

Keep trying - you'll get there.  :D

Look forward to seeing it but - the steps therein ruined our very one-off holiday when dear wife fell down them & spent the whole time in bed. I had to walk those lovely beaches alone. Apart from someone's dog. = Tim

Sorry all, Thought that if I could see it - everyone could. I've even logged out and viewed it as a guest. I downloaded it from hpphoto as reccomended in previous posts, but obviously it didn't work out. My first attempt at posting a photo. Any tips would be welcome!!! ???

I do recognise the wee picture as the Town Hall at Berwick on Tweed.  Take it you are from that place, my shopping centre!!!

Come on try again with Holy Island.  I cant help you though, cos I cant do it either!!

What a beautiful photo, you are so lucky to live somewhere like that.

Cheers for the tip Roy, It was so easy on imageshack  ;D
This is a lovely area to live, unfortunately I don't think we appreciate it as much as we should. Living in a fairly rural town we don't think a lot about all the open spaces and beautiful coastlines, until we visit a city and can't wait to get home!!!
Sorry to hear Tim that your holiday was spoilt in this area, It is a shame when things don't go to plan.

Thank you everyone, Although the photo was taken in January, It was January 2004 unfortunately, and I still can't take credit for it, as much as I would like too. I do have one or two others of Berwick if anyone wants to see them, although they are not in the same league as the last one!!

You know I think Fred Stott the Berwick painter would be interested in that view of Lindisfarne with that fantastic sky.  Do you know who I am talking about Botchituk?   He is still active at painting the views in and around Berwick and the Eastern Borders.
