Hi all, that's right I have not croaked..just can't get the dratted  pooter server right.. thought I had it but the system was dreadful, just switched to a new one so fingers crossed it will be OK from now on!!!

All is well over here in Canada.

We have a lottie(actually 2) lined up for the spring,,oh what a lark though, they are 10 feet by 20 feet.. ha ha I hear you all saying, but owt is better than nowt.  My 6 foot by 9 foot  third floor apartment patio has some boxes on too but I doubt I will be sowing 85 varieties of squash this next year. Meanwhile I have some baby tom plants under lights just as a trial!!

I trust everyone is well and I promise I have not been ignoring you, if this server works I WILL be around putting my nose in as usual.

I have just found old PMs which I will answer in the next few days.

More news to follow.

Love to you all

XX Jeannine

Nice to see you back Jeannine. We needed you the other day to answer some squash questions ;D
When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

Hi Jeannine

I was eyeing up my baby pumpkins the other day and thinking of you, wondering how you were getting on across the pond.

Shame about your tiny space, how are you going to manage to get all your squash in there - perhaps you will have to invent a climbing frame for them :) But on the bright side you will prob not go down to find it under 3 feet of water  :P

hope you are up and running soon, we need you for your squash expertise!

xx

Jeannine, your post was the first thing that greeted me this morning at 5.11!!! Needless to say, in your honour I've had a lazy day and read the seed catalogues instead of weeding the beds. Great to have you back! xxxxx Anne

So glad you have some growing space lined up, I can't imagine you without thinking of your 80 odd varieties of squash, some of which i have now tried on your past recommendations.

Lovely to hear from you again Jeannine. I've been wanting to thank you for the Honey Select sweetcorn seeds. I've had the best sweetcorn harvest ever this year - and I have enough seeds for next year too, so I'm well pleased.

Glad to hear you're up and running. :)

Jeannine, Great to hear, ya! We hope you ended up with a South facing patio.
You'll probably have the best weeded plots during your deprivation.
On the other hand, it may be a good way to meet your apt. dwellers by offering them squash seeds to grow up their patio trellises.

Have you started tacking "eh" on to every sentence yet?

Hi Jeannine, nice to hear from you and that you're doing well (cept your internet!)

Am I right in remembering you are back in BC?  My OH and I are flying to BC for 18 days travelling next June, perhaps afternoon tea and an A4A chit chat?  ;D
