Hi Guys,

Not sure if you know but the police have got there own publicly version of ebay where they sell things recovered that can not find the original owners for.

They have just about everything on here.

Curiously the terms for an electric plane say this:

"These goods being auctioned are second hand, unless stated otherwise. The police force that listed the item and Bumblebee Auctions claim no responsibility for the authenticity, commercial value or quality of any of the items sold through these Police Auctions. These goods are being auctioned on a 'Sold as Seen' basis. The working condition of these items are not determined."

It is illegal to sell any mains powered electrical item without having subjected it to a safety test by an appropriately qualified technician. Shouldn't the police know this? :)

Just for clarity and a correction, there is no legal requirement to have electrical items tested by an electrician or any other person! and the Police do know this... if you think this is incorrect let us know what piece of legislation that requires it!

Maybe it is one of those sites where the minute you press the button big brother is on to you...aaagh

They sell some pretty funny stuff...shampoo, would that have been apprehended in a raid..

Definatley big time entrepaneurs these auction cops.. Are they expecting heavy betting on the shampoo.. or maybe it is realpoo and has some market value we don't know about.. like bat poo!!!


Oohh, we ought to get bidding on that.
