I just wanted to let everyone know that the member of our forum that went by the nickname "qahtan" passed away a month ago today, December 8, 2013.  Her name
was Glory.  She was a good friend to me, and will deeply missed.

She was a active member of this group, and perhaps some of you wondered why there were no posts from her.

That's all I wished to say, thanks for taking the time to read this.

Many thanks for letting us know this sad news.
I had exchanged Christmas cards and emails with her since she'd been a member here, and she also phoned occasionally for a quick chat.
I'll remember her for her wonderful looking loaves, pictures of which she posted on here.
Flighty's plot,  http://flightplot.wordpress.com,  is my blog.

Sad news indeed.  Qahtan gave some wonderful advice about breadmaking, and will be very fondly remembered.

I am very sorry to hear that. It was so nice reading about her posts about her garden so far away.
It is very sweet of her friend to inform us, I had noticed that her posts were not so frequent for a while, and then there were no posts for a time. I hope she passed away peacefully. She will be missed.
2012 - Snow in February, non-stop rain till July. Blight and rot are rife. Thieving voles cause strife. But first runner beans and lots of greens. Follow an English allotment in urban France: http://roos-and-camembert.blogspot.com
