Nothing ouside yet but the plan is to get the rotavator out tomorrow then cover two or three strips with poly cloches with a view to direct sowing in a few days.

I'm hoping I can get my old machine going tomorrow too...... well, that's the plan.

Sweet-peas in pots (late)
Tomatoes in trays - up
Leeks in trays - up (late)

Not a good start to Spring.... so slow to get going. :(

cornykev

Tommies on their 3rd set of leaves and potted in to peat pots
Celeriac still in tray but have about 25/30 up and running
Cucs and bell peppers were no shows
A couple of sweet peas are up, awaiting the others
8 cabbages are up in a tray

I've just taken a chance on the following:

Carrots
Parsnips
Root Parsley
Beetroot
Peas and Mangetout

I can't be around to plant in the next few weeks - so it's early ... or late!

Tried to protect the peas from the mice by soaking them in strong chilli and garlic infused water before planting.

cestrian

I've planted my first earlies already and I've got toms and chillies, courgettes, squash and spinnach seedlings in 3" pots on the windowsills.

Turnips, runner beans and cabbage in modules in the coldframe in the greenhouse.

Really disappointed with my duchess f1 parsnip seeds. Free gift, 3 weeks chitting and only 4 so far. Last year I used half an old pack and they all worked. Now, where did I put the other old one  :toothy10:

cornykev

Sweetcorn and Cucs today.   :toothy10:
