Allotments 4 All

We have mounds and mounds of frogspawn in the pond, there are 3 pairs of blue tits nipping in and out of our next boxes, a pair of wrens in our little woven pod which they have filled with moss from my lawn, Starlings are nesting in the ivy thicket on the fence. the male quail have started crowing in the quailarium and the ladies have started laying and our rabbit doe has had 7 kittens.  There are a lot of hormones in the air around our house!   :P

Wow, where are you. We have lots of activity in the pond but no spawn as yet  ;D

Same here... the pond is beginning to "boil" but no spawn yet...  :)

Loads of spawn in my pond too. I got caught out - I hadn't lifted the winter netting yet and the spawn was all inside it at one end. Quite tricky getting it out and back into the pond. Slippery stuff!!

In sunny Essex just east of the City of Chelmsford.  ;D  Loads and loads of spawn and already it looks like the black dots are now long shapes so it is all developing nicely.

The spawn in my pond disappeared within 10 days of me first noticing it - the fish were probably hungry!
