yeah, the ones they have in zoos in turkey. they love to swim allegedly but mine just wallow in the bath a bit - buzz lies semi submerged on your belly, sophie plays with your toes and dawni has to sit in the sink until you get out and then she'll mess about in the bath for a while  ;D

richard -12?

As I've said there, Richard, that's now 3 pet sites.

I have a feeling that we're finally going to disappear up our own divergences - for want of a better word! = Tim

Sorry Tim.

I shall now try to stop the extra threads and concentrate any pet related posts to the 'Pets Corner' board. Just for you!

Maybe  I could have a special one for pet hedgehogs -  or is that 'wild life'! = Tim

Depends on how tame it is and how much it relies on you for food etc.

If it is tame(ish) and you regularly feed it then I SUPPOSE you could call it a pet. Then you could start a thread in Pets Corner.  Call it 'other pets' or 'unusual pets' something like that.

If not well lets talk about it in the wildlife forum.

Perhaps if the three pet boards is a problem perhaps Dan could move these threads/boards into pets corner?

I heard something about not feeding them milk too, Tim but I cannot remember why.

I think they shouldn't have milk because they can't digest it properly......I think....I may be wrong....but I am sure I heard Rolf or someone saying that.

I always thought it was fresh water and cat or dog food to feed them.

tim

Correct - I believe - milk gives them the 'runs' - the last thing you want on your 'patio'? = Tim

cow's milk is very hard to digest for a lot of creatures.

I love hedgehogs. Wish we had some in our garden.

(They make the funniest noises when they are... ahem... making baby hedgehogs!)

How on earth did we get from pets to Hedgehogs? ???

Nice though they are they are not exactly pets are they. Perhaps this discusion should be continued on the wildlife forum.  ;D

Its all YOUR fault you know Tim.  ;)
