Welcome greenqueen I'm miles away in London, but when my mate lived in Bolton we was up there 2 or 3 times a year, I think he was in the chorley area, I think.     :-\       ;D ;D ;D

What a lovely welcome.  I have looked at several different allotment websites and I love this one.
Really down to earth and lovely people.
Its important to have a good laugh as well.
I look forward to to asking lots of questions.

If you're not around for a while I guess you'll be having a lie down after dealing with all that soil- hope it's being delivered right where you want it! :o

I have plots in Aspull and Leigh, you should be able to get plenty of local manure try the farms on Astley Moss or Bag lane Atherton

Hi I am in Murton ,County Durham,with two plots ,which are corner to corner so its easy to work.

I dont have an allotment but what i do have is plenty of manure in Liverpool (just off East Lancs Road), fresh or well rotted. I only use straw however it is for collection only.
