Allotments 4 All

have been sprouting some fenugreek seeds for the stir fry tonight - will also have finely sliced cabbage, peas, beans etc in it and also making Piccalilli today with all the usual ingredients - plum pie for pud  :)

First tastings of Major Cook's french bean - impressed  :)

Aurora and yellow centriflor toms, long red florence onions, Achocha (ladies slipper), borlotti beans.

Yesterday on the allotment.  One strawberry, raspberries that were picked to take home.  ;) ;) One red apple from a neglected plot, one pear that fell from the tree next to my allotment, and the plot is also not used, few blackberries, my tongue is permanently black.  At home for dinner, beans, spinach and pots with mint with lamb chops (from Morrisons) and stewed plums and custard.

Spuds, Courgettes, Runners, Garlic and Mint with pork chops. Blackberry and Apple Crumble for Pudding. Mrs Stick also made batch of Raspberry Jam to go with the Gooseberry.

Ummm.....Toms, more toms, few mulberries, apple, few peas and a carrot...and that was breakfast.... ;D

Pork chops in an onion gravy with potatoes, peas and runner beans followed by choc courgette cake :P for hubby and rhubarb ice cream for me.

Raw carrot and a few raspberries for breakfast when I popped down to the allotment to feed the hens. And no washing up...

Yesterday with my roast lamb I had my carrots, kale and roasties.  ;D ;D ;D

getting fed up with tomatoes! (had to freeze another load today)  8)

Two patty pan courgettes stuffed with a rice, minced beef and tomato stuffing...topped with cheese!!

Sweet corn as starter then Mayan gold potatoes zapped in micowave and then fried, runner beans, broccoli, carrots, courgette, with a nice piece of salmon poached with lemon juice. 

I wish some of you rocket eater lived nearer it is on a take over bid of my lottie.

And I had one goji berry.  Now I will live for ever. ;D ;D

tonight, veggie curry,onions, garlic, courgettes,peppers and a chilli, someone else's mushrooms and rogan josh sauce  ;D

(Rump steak) garlic onions aligot (only partially from my allotment) and salad. I'm also cooking ratatouille for the freezer and plum and (oat crumble).  And have frozen green beans, broadies and peas. Damsons in the fridge along with even more toms, kohl rabi, long red florence onions and crystal apple cucumbers.
We lottie holders don't half live well.

Apple, plum, raspberries, brambles, jostaberries, redcurrants... grazing while picking. Damsons, courgettes, onion.. jacket potato...  :)

Chicken (T*sco) with home grown courgette, tomato, garlic and bay leaf sauce. Saddad you are making my mouth water - really must put in some fruit trees / bushes. Realised last week that one of the large tree-shaped weeds that I nuked when I took on my plot was probably a plum tree  :'(
