Hmmmm......................Tim I have started my courgettes to early I think.

I nstead of nice short stocky plants they have long stems. They have got their second set of leave.Do you think I should scrap them?

Robert_Brenchley

You could put them out under cloches if you've got any, or replant. Metcheck is forecasting temperatures around 50-55 over the next week, which is only the typical April temperature, so don't panic.

Yes I have Beans crawling up my dining room windows.

The weather people said it would be pouring of rain this morning so I took the housework option......yuk.would rather have gone to the lottie.

Not a drop of rain yet,I suppose it will come.

I only sowed mine in loo rolls yesterday, hopefully they will be ready to go out at the end of May
I was born with nothing and have most of it left.

Mrs Ava

I follow our site tradition and sow beans on the 1st May.  Has always worked for me just fine.  I would like to harden some more veg off to make room in the greenhouse for the ever growing number of seed trays and pots, but for some reason, I seem to be being very cautious this year.
