Can't remember when I last saw a thrush around here.  :'(

lovely photos EJ - now is that a song thrush or a mistle thrush?.....must go and look in my bird book.

oh!....very much alike - mostly just the size that's different ???

I often see one here in these gardens where I live - a lovely & often rare sight these days.

incredibly friendly to.  I was able to get very close before it darted off.  Seemed almost as big, if not bigger than the blackbird.  There were lots of birds about, but not many that posed as beautifully as these two.

More good pics Emma.  That is a Song Thrush, the Mistle thrush has streaky markings and much bigger.

yey, we've got one of them, a mistle thrush, on the plot, I think they were nesting in the tall trees or shrubs around the bowling green, unfortunately, we have a large amount of magpies so i don't know if they were successful, >:(   the blackbirds seem to have escaped this year, at least some of them  :)
