Not sure where to post this. :o
Hi I’m a newbie and finally got here, boy have I had struggle to get my pass key to fit the allotment gate, ::) now sorted thanks to Dan. I know little or nowt about veggies and plants but love to dabble in the more exotic tender stuff so more likely to be a lurker than adviser I’m afraid. :-\
I’ve been lurking a while and you all seem a lovely bunch of Guy’s ‘n’ Gal’s hope I can add a little input along the way. ;D
Love the site just didn’t know where to look first, have read every joke on the watershed loved that section, :D I’m sure I could dig a few jokes out to post.

Thanks for having me.

Hi Roy and welcome. The Watershed is rather amusing isn't it, just make sure before reading anything on the Watershed that you're sitting properly on your chair and don't take a mouthful of your cofee as you read, some have been know to fall off their chairs or make a mess all over their keyboards! ;D  Tell us more about the kind of things you grow.

Hi Roy, welcome and glad you've joined us!
I'm a relative newbie having switched from the Beeb site, and am thrilled to find old friends here.
It's a friendly gathering!
Best regards, CLx
PS Let's hear about what you grow!

oooo, several of us like to dabble with the tropical and exotics, so share what you grow.  Me, I love to grow anything and bore everyone rigid with all of my pics of fruit and flowers!  Welcome to the gardening funny farm!

p.s.  Watch out for Eileen, she will try to tell you she is the only sane member.  Mad as a March Hare!  ;) ;D

Hi there Roy, don't believe EJ she doesn't bore us at all I only have an allotment no garden so enjoy seeing pictures of "exotics and tenders"  so look forward to seeing some pictures from you. But I think she may be right about Eileen - when it comes to flowers of any kind she has no boundaries!!

Persistence pays Roy! Think I left you a note to that effect on the beeb board somewhere. I too had trouble, but am here now. Also a West Midlander...

Hi Roy! I'm pretty new here and yet another from the Beeb. Everyone has been most welcoming to me and I know they will be for you as well. I look forward to future communications, particularly about your "Exotica"! Very intriguing.....

Wow! Your garden is gorgeous! Birmingham - not far from me - Staffordshire. My garden is of a similar size to yours, although it is difficult to tell with all the tall plants you have! Fantastic!

Hi Roy - welcome to A4A :)  I am also a refugee from the Beeb.  You will make loads of new, very knowledgeable, friends here as I have.

Had a look at your lovely garden and must say that for someone who thinks he knows nothing about plants, you have made a pretty good job of it.  Wonderful plants :D
Happy gardening all...........Pat

Hey there Roy, fellow newbie to the site but even newer to the world of gardening. I am too mad as a march hare. I mean does a man with that motto under his avater sound sane. Hopefully if your an exotic grower you may some help to me, will pop on your site later.

Thanks again Guys ‘n’ Gals for the kind words and compliments, the exotic gardening idea started about 4+ years ago whilst on holiday abroad in Malta, I purchased a few packets of palm seeds and they took off much to my amazement and quite a few of them are still with us today. I have to say I can kill more than I can grow. Here is a picky of one of my success’s, hope this works…
