That's a very classy pair, they are colour coordinated beautifully, even  on their eyes , and the the trim she has matches the curtains, they look really good.

I like it,a picture to treasure, and he doesn't look wild, he looks very sweet,look into his eyes,a teddy  bear, and a proud one at that.

I've had a couple of interesting conversations with my dad over the last few days.

He's a wildlife WIZARD so I've been sending him pics of bugs and unidentified things in my bushes.

I sent him a pic of a prehistoric looking buglet and asked him if it was a 'friend or foe'?

He mailed me back and said 'don't worry, it's a herbivore'

ARGGGGHHHHHHH!

It was some sort of shield bug Marg. Bluey purple and pink. I thought they only came in lime green so automatically assumed it was a plague of some sort  ;D

Hi everyone, I am relighting the flame under this post as it seems the perfect place to come back to.

Due to flooding, overseas visitors and temporary classrooms I have been unable to get here for some weeks.

Thank you for all your PMS which I am just starting to answer.

To answer a few questions.

I have not been ill and am just fine, so is John.
I have definitely not fallen out with A4A.
We have not been away.

Since the floods and our school being completely ruined we started in temp accommodation split over 2 facilities in September, the kids are bussed there and back and as I have special insurance to carry kids, I transport all the lates, Dr's appointments and the sickies or bumped kids between three locations, plus doing any home visits I do as part of my job, many of which are having to be done in the evening.

John and I have been eating on the run, I think we have probably earned shares in the local take aways which we usually hate. Then of course we have been renovating and decorating which started before the floods, so life here has been manic.

Thankfully it has slowed down a bit, the overseas visitors have gone home and the decorating is at a point we can  ease off, so we have a wee bit more time  until the school move starts again when we get our own facility back in January.

So folks , what have I missed, is there anything exciting or even sad I need to know about, I have been trying to wade through weeks of postings.

How is everyone.

How about seed swaps, who is doing what?

All you super folk who have had good harvests, it would be wonderful to hear about it.

Any more babies?

I have made a resolution this year to not buy seeds, but have already begun to break it by starting to get ready to order my sweet corn from Canada, oh dear I am such a wimp.

I loved this posting ,so am hoping the chit chat will start again by it's revival .

Please join me, I am sure we all have lots to gossip about, and perhaps some newbies out there I have not been able to say Hi to.

Well I dont want to bring the tone down, but I am really low today. Feeling lonely, miss hubbly such a lot for some reason today. Its cold and grey outside.......not even one little bird in the garden this morning.

On the plus side....there always is one...Im looking into getting a lottie, that is something I have always wanted to do, just never got round to it. I reckon I can blame this forum for that ;D Thanks one and all!!

Im trying to keep my spirits up, though its really difficult on a down day. I think I need a big cyber hug.

I will add I dont think Ive met a nicer, friendlier group of folk as I have here........you're ALL just lovely :)

Nice seeing you back Jeannine.  I don't know how you keep up the hectic pace of life and I know you are just a wee bit older than me.  I take my hat off to you, good on you.  Oh  I am active, but not manic rushing hither and thither. 

Star.  I am sorry to hear  you are down in the dumps a bit.  I don't know your circumstances with your OH but am sure it is just one of these days and if it is dull and dreich outside, well that helps to make you a bit down.  Tomorrow is another day and the sun may shine and you as well.  Chin up. 

I am looking out at sunny skies but its quite windy (as usual).  We haven't had rain for 10 days now and no wind either.   I am off looking for a couple of tables for my room.  Unfortunately, the wood in my room is dark and off course the fashion just now is for light wood so having a struggle to see a couple of tables.

8 ps.s.  i spotted this page last night.  I was looking for that game we play every Hallowe'en where you try and knock 9 cats off a Wall and a Witch cackling her head off if you miss.  I couldnt find it and I have spent hours playing that game.

Janine.........I am SO sorry, I was wrapped up in myself. I didnt appreciate the difficult time you have been having. Its nice to hear things are settling down now......the stresses must have been awful.

Hi Jeannine nice to see your back, you take easy, seems like you have been running round after everyone, take a bit of you time and put your feet up girl and Star any time you feel down theres always someone on here to share your woes, as for me I've been to the lottie this morning and did a bit of tidying up, out tonight to a halloween party at the club.  ;D ;D ;D
