been watching this and find it,s really different. don,t know if this  is a repeat as i missed it last time don,t learn a lot but she makes me laugh

Perhaps I'm a bit of a misanthrope but I find relentless super cheerfulness (Ms Klein?)  a bit wearisome. Pick up the odd good tip though and she visits some interesting gardens

I agree Barnowl, she's nice but a bit too obsessed, the old bloke next door is hilarious.

Should really be a sitcom like Terry and June.

I love the programme, she may get over excited but she's real nothing fancy, great veiwing, theirs no swearing no talking crap no fancy use of stuff, just one real person and one real loved hobbie.

I think she's a breath of fresh air and totally ecentric. Went to a gardening talk by her a few weeks ago and she is exactly the same - it was hilarious -but what enthusiasum. She is on Essex Radio' s gardening programme at the moment talking about the actual filming of the programme, as well as taking lots of calls about plants.

Do like the programe but find her very childish all that jumping up and down and running around - good tips and find the old man refreshing

I find Christine very entertaining and 'down to earth' and I'd completely agree with this comment she reminds me of a female Fred Dibner     I'm a huge fan of the late Fred  :)

Both of them have/had such enthusiasm for their chosen way of life.

I watched it too and read her articles in Amateur Gardening mag.  I was laughing ny head off on Friday when she was skidding down that gravel road, screeching to a halt and probably contravening many highway laws to do with safe driving, just to look at a little flower!

Nutty as a fruit cake, but I enjoy watching her to.  LOVE her neighbour, he is the highlight of the program.  Sometimes it is just nice to watch something and not have to think, just to sit back and let is entertain you, and it does.  ;D

(oh yeah, back on line - whoppee!)

I saw some of the last series and part of one of this (assuming there have been two so far?). Think she gives v. good practical tips and that is a good thing, but... (big pause while I try not to be unkind... ::))....s*ddit I'll say it.... don't like her. Find her patronising manner to and about the lovely neighbour quite out of order. If I was his wife I'd be tempted to give her a cup of hemlock to have along with the apple pie - now that would be a laugh  ;)

Have to agree with you Lish.  Probably her heart is in the right place, but something about her really gets on my nerves. Don't want to be unkind, but somehow think if Victoria Wood was doing a sketch about a gardening lady, Christine would be it!  :-\ busy_lizzie

I enjoyed it far more than the following programme. ;D ;)( talk about beauty being in the eye of the beholder...that's a pond?) Thought she was 'quaint'. She made me smile and it was very easy watching as peeps have already said. I think her demos would be entertaining to say the least.

I could probably listen to her if she was giving a talk, but the programme leaves me absolutely cold. I suspect a lot of her little 'insights' are filmed separately and edited in to give the show  more of an 'aah factor'. I think there's too much playing to the camera, and it comes across as being a little too forced for my liking.
