Everyone's on the 'net'?

I'm OK - just reheating the very last of the Ratatouille to go with left-over cold Ham from 'next door'!

Left over sausage casserole for me.  ;D

He is on Lamb chops tonite, but I am off meat at the moment...happens to me occassionally, can't face the taste or smell, and no, I am not pregnant!  I shall just have to suffer with some green lip muscles, pilchards and prawns!  ;D

Hot_Potato

bennettsleg

I was 'working' at my PC at lunchtime - large bowl of mixed salad - potato, onion, lettuce, cucumber, celery, quartered eggs &  cheese cubes, in my spesh.garlic/mustard/chilli dressing, forked into mouth as I was working - (& sometimes, just sometimes,  browsing..)

Tonite...dunno. Not hungry enough to think about food yet. (It was a very large bowl of salad) :-\

so far - have not cooked today but made use of some leftovers from yesterday....mixed together some chopped kurly kale, mushrooms, garlic, sage & onion stuffing & salad potatoes (all had been cooked/roasted previously)...shoved in ovenproof dish....at this stage, heated thru for 2 mins. in microwave then.....

covered with a layer of sliced tomatoes and sprinkled with grated cheese....put under hot grill for several minutes until bubbling & almost crispy on top.....lovely with a side salad...

I never thro away 'leftovers' - somehow manage to use them either in soups, or as above or freeze til I can find a use for them.

Have known hard times in past so guess that's why  :)

Ooooh, that sounds lovey.  Pity OH can be a bit picky when it comes to left overs (I now know never to try post-xmas turkey soup on him...) but he's learning.
