Like a bad penny im back and just had the results from the CT scan and the cancer has not spread Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyy!! healing really well from the hystorectomy and starting to feel 'normal' again and itching to get going in the garden and we have swapped to a bigger allotment to so hubby can do his show dahlias and i can have more room for fruit and veggies :)
Only took it over a week agao and already had manure delivered and as it was in pretty good condition hubby rotavated it so we can catch up :) it has a tap on the end of the plot and we have paid out hose pipe fee for the year so that makes life easy and the loos are just a few steps away  ;D
Made a start with broadbeans, garlic, peas in root trainers and cauli and cabbage in cell trays so well up to speed :)
Feels so good to be getting going again as i truely didn't think i would ever get to play in the dirt again.
Thanks for all the kind messages of support you are great !!

Wonderful to see you back Dawn, was honestly just thinking about you the other day.  Glad you are full of beans and ready to get cracking with your new lottie, although by the sound of it, you have already got off to a flying start.  Good on ya Dawn, Go get um!!  :D busy_lizzie

Welcome back Dawn.   ;D   I'm glad everything went well for you but don't do too much too soon.  It takes several months to get over a big operation like that, so do take care.

tim

Empathize, flower - been under a shadow for a month - without all the invasive stuff.

Like you - breathing again - I think. Keep well!

Hyacinth

Very pleased to hear your news Flower..had my check-up earlier this month - always an anxious time. Bought myself some mushroom compost and seed potatoes to celebrate......nothing like looking to the future ;D

Have a great year on your new lottie!

flowerofshona your energy and planting schedule has put me to shame!  So glad to hear you are feeling better.

Welcome back Dawn ;D That is fabulous news. But take heed and don't try to run before you can walk (I did after the same op) and it only sets you back. Just relax
and plan your lottie....it;s almost spring!!!!! ;D

Dawn Great news, welcome back. Like others have said please don't try to do too much, very easy to do more than you should if you are feeling good.. Take it easy.

Fab news ... and hello !

I too have had one of them .. and can only re-iterate .... please take things very slowly !!!! (on the physical) you only have one chance to heal properly and that's the first time ..... you have all the time in the world to garden thereafter (((hug))).
