Well, I've been involved in veggie-growing since I was knee-high to an Anderson shelter, and I've come to two conclusions:

a)  How much there is to find out and how little I still know!

b)  How helpful (most) folk on A4A are at helping, advising and generally giving each other encouragement. You helped me lots.

(I've recently been reading the fascinating thread on fruit crumbles - which for some odd reason is in The Shed - which has given me recipes for every month of the year! Keep it up guys!)

So thanks to everyone, and may you all have the gardening luck you deserve in '09.
