 ???

Is it just me or is anyone else watching it? I cannot wait for tomorrow! Think JT will employ Emily whatever the result, and James is my pick to win.

Comments?

Hi Katy, We are glued to the screen every night, and will miss it when it finishes. I think this has been the best series and they have really put them all through hoops. I think you are right as I reckon James will win - he is the most consistant and better organised than the other two, and is very talented. Emily is really exceptional, but she does lack experience. I think even if she doesn't win she will do very well out of this, and is sure to get a good job somewhere.  I think you are right, John Turoda is really taken with her.  Jonny will do okay too. I think the budget for the show this year must be hugely up on last years, considering all the exotic locations. Seemingly they are going to Paris for the final.   busy_lizzie

i love masterdhef its the only programe i watch at the moment.  i love emily she is sucha natural but i dont think she will will win - her lack of experience is telling. i think its going to be such a close run thing between the boys. and it wouldnt surprise me if johnny won by a nose. he has really improved and gathered momentum in the last few rounds. mind you the curly one is outstanding too and the michelin stars all loved his turbot. hmmm....

My favourite programme too - what will I do at 8.30 Monday-Thursday now?  I believe James will win.  Emily will go and be nurtured by JT and Johnny will be given a chance somewhere too by eagle eyed chefs.  They are all so good.  I love to cook too but don't think I could ever do as well as they have. To have all those great chefs praising your efforts must be a moment to savour for the rest of your life. Great telly.

I really hope that Emily does not win - As an ex Chef - I would not employ her, she is a bit of a liability, she needs to know the basics to be able to pull off the exotic food.

Johnny is doing well, but I don't think he will pull it off, but I hope he does

I do find it objectionable that they went off to Belize for a lousy cooking demo - They could have used so many locations closer to home - Maybe they should show what real chefs and cooks have to do every day - Maybe create a menu for kids that have to be fed every day at school for 65 pence a child or in a hospital kitchen.

I think it would also really show up their skills, when they cooked for Roux and co last night, that they would have to produce their own food, as all they did was copy Chefs food, which is easier than having to devise your own menu and being able to compliment each others courses - Now that's being a Chef  ;)

I've missed the odd programme. Have they at any stage been asked to run the pass in a busy restaurant?

BEst one yet I think, although I do get a bit tired of teh two blokwes who present it - they seem incapable of talking without shouting.

Re the school dinners aspect, it is called Master Chef not Master Caterer - perhaps there should be a separate competition?

I think that every time they open their mouth! Calm down lads - yes its duck, lavender, saffron and blueberry! You are right next to each other - dont shout just turn the hearing aids up!

Love watching it though - watch Masterchef goes large too - actually all i seem to watch recently are cooking programmes - UKTV food wastes a few hours!
Keep getting worried that the stuff I grow will taste nasty - or turn out poisonous!

I am thoroughly enjoying this programme as well, but record it and watch it before I go to bed.  I shall miss it after tonight.  I think James will win as well but I do like Johnni. Emily is good as well but don't think her recent mistakes will have done much to make her the winner.

;D

They have also had a good whack with the ugly stick.

OH watches it but then she would watch the little black dot if they still had it.

What an insult to inflict onto the viewing public!

All these 'best at' dancing, cooking, ice skating, gardeners etc are so mind-numbingly boring, I have over 100 chanels to watch and I hardly watch the box nowadays. Where did all the plays go?

sawfish

I reckon James is the best, they seem to be bigging up Emily big style though.

I think Nick has a good point - why shouldn't a chef get to work in those circumstances - why just a caterer.  Kid's food should be good too.  Also, it is one of the challenges on Celebrity Masterchef.

What will I do now its finished!

Is the prize really to work in a kitchen for six months without pay?  I think coming second is great in that case, lots more options to earn money.  James was great and certainly deserved to win and I would definitely love to go to Johnny's restaurant when he hopefully opens one, but can you imagine Emily's food in a few year's time when she has learned to control that artistic licence, absolutely awesome....
