Crash

This weekend we've been on a scooter rally to Mersea Island near Colchester. When we got home I had a message to ring the local field officer. I've got my lottie! Woo Hoo. I've been awake since 3.30 waiting for daylight so I can go down and take a photo of it. A little overgrown but I'm ready for the hard work. My lottie is 13 rods and had a damson tree and other fruit bushes on it. Going to start clearing it this afternoon and see what else is hiding!

Photos tp follow!

Hi Crash

;D Hi Crash ;) Know how you feel especially if this is your first lottie, it was about this time last year I was awaiting the same news but was kept on tenter hooks until the beginning of December, well worth the wait though.

Good luck and keep the photo's coming. ;D

Hi
I'm ripped to shreads. Brambles and nettles attacking me all day! Well heres my lottie "before" photos..... I've been for beer and curry tonight so no "little bit after shots". I lost 8lbs on the lottie today. Mostly through sweat! I need to remember to take more drinks with me...

And here's my shed!

Roy Bham UK

;D But wasn't it fun? perhaps not ready yet, but maybe tomorrow, but who cares? it is still there and waiting for your planting hand to do the biz. ;D

I love the shed, in a little shady nook too! I'd swap that for a modern one any day. ;D

redimp

Yeah - have to agree with Roy, the shed look s good and it is in a good location.  I right little hidy hole.  Remember - a bit at a time and plant what you can when you can in what you have done.  If there is something you want growing to look at, it makes hacking away at the soil and weeds all the more easier.

Congrats on your first lottie Crash.....take it easy (as everyone told me when I got started)

I just love that shed too and what a lovely spot.... I've not got one at all, which is an absolute pain altho I do keep a few odd tools in a neighbours but loads of stuff in boot of my car!!

Annadl

Good luck Crash.  All that land.  Nice shed too. I'm so envious.

Wish I was there!!

Anna
Wish I had an allotment.  I love A4A.

wardy

I can't see the pics.  What's happened?  Anyway I will imagine what your shed looks like  ;D  All the best with the new plot.  Don't try and weed it all at once - they only come back  :)
I came, I saw, I composted

Maddy
