Mot a trace of it yet in Birmingham. I've been messing about all morning dealing with apower gut (we were out for an hour and a half and the phone still isn't back on; I don't know the reason), doing online examiner marking training, etc. etc. I now have to nip in to the tax office to sort out the mess things get into when I work for half a dozen different agencies. I won't be on the plot till late, and I hope any thunder is well over by then!

Had some rumblings this morning in east Sussex, and a sprinkle of rain, and now it just feels muggy! Makes you wan't to lay down and have a snooze type weather! ;D

Hoping for a fine day tomorrow, off to the Bath and West Show - which means that it's likely that I'll get rained on down theallotment on Sunday.  If it starts lightning again, I'll put the hoe away and weed by hand... ;D

Thunder over the city centre this afternoon while i was in the tax office; they weren't very helpful and great Jove was obviously showing his displeasure. It's still pretty black out there. As long as it's over the city centre it doesn't affect us too much, as most people have sheds to hide in, but if it's on the other side we get flash floods which can be pretty unpleasant.

Thunder in Essex about 6pm tonight and fair amount of rain.

Big thunder and big rain in weybridge, surrey.  Lottie will be alone tonight.

 :o We had some heavey bursts of rain around 2 & 3pm and I still managed to get up the Lottie to sow some seeds plus a few claps of thunder and a short period of rain whilst up there. ;D
