So Proud of my Jon!

Hi all, just had to share the news, my OH, Jon, was awarded an MBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours.  :o

We are both so proud, and excited at the prospect of a trip to Buck House - that's a new outfit for me! ;D

This award is in recognition of all Jon's work over the last 12 years on a project within the MOD which very much supports the front-line troops. And it was a huge suprise and shock to get such recognition, and I am just about bursting with pride at the monment!

Well done to Jon.  Like to hear of 'ordinary' folk getting recognised for their work and not so called celebrities.  Enjoy looking for an outfit including a hat.  Its a must for the Palace, this could be a few months away yet so you have plenty time.
