Hi,my other half was cleaning the log burner(as we do still put it on some nights in the highlands!) when he noticed a black thing in the corner of the glass door ,he was ready to rub it when it moved! he then put the garden gloves on and gently pick a tiny wee bat up !he took it outside and off he went AHHH! He may have got blown down the chimney as we had high winds ,I also saw my first red squirrel it was so lovely.

That was a lucky little bat  :happy7:
It must have been so rewarding to find and release it.

Hi Ya, Brilliant, if small it could of been a pipestrelle I think they are called as they are the smallest in the UK I believe, Oh for those magic moments that make it all worth while

Robert_Brenchley

90% of British bats are pipistrelles, so everything can be assumed to be a pipistrelle until proved otherwise.
