Thank you for all the get well messages.Georgie kindly copied them all out in to a folder and brought them in to Hospital for me to read. Unfortunately pneumonia set in so I was in hospital for 17 days.  Still on morphine, just a case of waiting until the bone mends. Carer comes each morning but children look after me rest of the day. Hopefully it won't be too long before I can walk unaided. Kind regards, Lorna.

Lorna, sorry you had the complication and had to stay longer in hospital than expected.  At least you are home now and I would like to add my 'get well very quickly' message to you.

You get SOOOO much more rest at home than in hospital, with the noise, people coming in and out, usually really uncomfy beds! Hope you feel much better soon.
2012 - Snow in February, non-stop rain till July. Blight and rot are rife. Thieving voles cause strife. But first runner beans and lots of greens. Follow an English allotment in urban France: http://roos-and-camembert.blogspot.com

Once again many thanks for all your posts.. I am still unable to use my own computer as I wouldn't feel safe sitting on that type of chair. Managing to keep up a little with friends and family as young Lorna lends me her iPad  (that took some time getting used to it) Lorna has arranged to take me to see my Doctor Tuesday morning. I understand this to perhaps reduce the morphine and other medication. Certainly going in the right direction. I am going to have outside help with the garden for the rest of this year but hopefully will manage my hanging baskets myself .

Best wishes Lorna, love CL x
