strong winds and cold

Wet this morning, nice and sunny now - breezy though.

Friday - one hefty shower then sunshine with white & grey scudding clouds.
Not bad.

Late summers day here on the north east coast -Beautiful blue skies & surprisingly warm - took dog for a walk with hubby to enjoy the day outdoors. Glad we did as saw a red squirrel, pair of buzzards, butterflies, and dragonflies

No rain for sometime.  Soil very dry.   Nice an sunny here but rather windy.  But got cold suddenly mid afternoon.

A nice day down south - hoping for another tomorrow

After a bright morning the clouds arrived by midday - a threat of rain but the washing's been out for hours.

Pretty cloudy all day today and a lot cooler

Persistent rain.

Chucking it down & very windy & cold - blanket, hot chocolate & a good book!   

COLD....Steady rain since I came back from the plot at half ten , time for me thinks ! and note to self (get the chimney sweep in)

Heating on, pouring with rain and I am off to Woolacombe, Devon 2morrow in a caravan.  Just finding some wool and knitting patterns if it is going to rain. Have packed some wine 

Started cloudy... turned to rain.. persisting it down.. still got 5lbs of raspberries in.. now jam! 

Rain started about 9.35 am and as been raining most of the day and evening.  Badly needed here as ground like concrete.

It has been another sunny day but cool 12c here in the Scottish Borders, but ready for the onslaught of the rain and gales as forecast.   

Very wet today and not complaining as we haven't had a really good soaking of the earth for a good while.

It will make the turning of the soil easier before the winter manure layer goes on.

It's pouring down here in Birmingham.  So much rain that my wimpy dog Graham will NOT want to go for a walk in it and I will have to pick him up and put him outside in the garden otherwise he won't 'go' all day!
I will have to go and feed the cats at the allotment, they don't seem to be bothered by awful weather.
