June is bursting out all over..........in very wet lumps.  :(

A fairly steady down pour for most of the day...and the weeds are loving it.  ::)

But..we did have a few dry and amazingly bright hours in the afternoon...which was soon blown away.

Raining..what else XX Jeannine

Digeroo

Another wet day here and it is very windy.  I hope Thames water withdraw the hosepipe ban soon.   ;D

Borlotti

Rain and wind, and I really wanted to go to the allotment today.  The forecast was wrong, as today was meant to be OK.

I can hear the wind in the trees in the park at the back of my house, and it's raining of course.
Will I be able to persuade Graham to go for a walk?

Graham wouldn't even go in the garden yesterday but I managed to drag persuade him to come to the park today.  The rain has eased off a bit now, but it's still windy.

Rain hasn't really stopped from yesterday morning, windy too. There doesn't look to have been any structual damage but plants and trees have had a bit of a bashing.  :(

Wind and rain here in Essex through the night and early morning.  THe rain has now stopped (9.25) but the wind is still blowing.

Poolcue

Very windy and wet here in sunny (not) Sutton.Overnight my plastic blowie (aptly named) went for a fly.It was filled with stuff and plants are looking very sorry for themselves.I have lost a few but hopefully the majority will recover. :(

Suffolk is very windy but currently no rain.  Because of the strong winds and even stronger gusts forecast for late morning / early afternoon, the second day (today) of the Suffolk Agricultural Show has been cancelled as it was thought there could be a risk to the public by damage being caused to the marquees and gazeboos on the site.

jimtheworzel

drizzl rain, with a high of only 13c forecasted.

Just heard on the news how badly your area was/is affected.  Glad that you haven't had structural damage.

Here it is proper foul, squally, rainy gusts and very cold, only 12C.  So far no bad damage either luckily, very depressing needed to switch lights on yesterday lunchtime to do some fine work.  Just a little brighter today.  Fed up with this weather.  :(

Crystalmoon

Disgusting weather in Kent too - winds over 50 mph today on first dry day in ages. Heavy rain smashed some of my squash plants to bits yesterday :'(    Been a truly awful growing year for me so far xJane
