Lidl seeds in stock. Decent choice starting at 29p, or 2 for 50p.

Sorry, didn't see any bamboo canes in Lidl's - but our local Poundland has packets of them

I couldn't resist the 29p seeds though, how could anyone!....

Although I'm a bit gutted, paid £1.89 for Gherkin seeds from a seed catalogue and then Lidl get some in for 29p...wah man!

So I got them anyhow...just in case you see...

When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.

Keep an eye on your poundshop bamboo canes - I got some last year and found they were quite fresh -  I poked them in the ground as plant supports, and they started sprouting...  :o
(just oiked them out and put them back in upside down - seemed to do the trick

Last couple of years 99p canes have been thicker and longer than poundland but local store here does not have them at the moment.  Their netting is also very good

Just to be totally equitable poundland fleece seems to me to be better and thicker and they have good peat pots at the mo.

I've just been and got 8 packets of 29p seeds from Lidl  ;D ;D ;D

As a bonus, I saved extra at the checkout due to a 'multi-buy' offer (which wasn't marked on the display), and got 8 packets for £2.   ;D :) ;D

Edited to say that I just noticed mickstani mentioned this on the first post... Still, a good surprise for me.
