Our first cauli of the year. Candid Charm. Very pleased with them

When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

Candid Charm are a 75 day Cauli from sowing to eating so just count the days to when you may be able to get the last before the weather gets to cold.

Big freezer then

We had to get another freezer when we got another allotment. We will give some away but will freeze the rest. I will have to remember next year to sow them at intervals.(bet I forget)
manics I can't seem to grow Romanesco.Which variety do you grow and where do you get them?

Got ours from kings, Shirl, just romanesco broccoli, sown in modules, transplanted into bigger pots until in at least 5" pots, put in with a bit of bfb and some lime, not watered since puddling in. We do, however, have trouble getting good size caulis  ;D

shirlton

Thanks Mal. Got my Candid Charm from Kings too

Looking back on our pink, overblown caulis, presumably the pink is harmless?
