As I have mentioned before I have decided to revamp my whole garden to the point I am not going to be dependant on 'annual bedding plants' anymore.

I have decided to make it  into more of a perennial garden.

To do this meant I have had to remove all my Daffodils, Crocus, Snowdrops, Tulips & bluebells as you can see in the following slide show.

This is progress to date; the first half dozen pictures were taken earlier this month the rest were taken this evening (Tues-14th)

Excellent, TG.

I'm trying to do something similar. It is not that I do not like bedding, but I prefer the opulence and size of perennials such as delphs, lupins, hollyhocks, achillea, etc.

I'm aiming to keep bedding plants restricted to pots.

Looking good there TG. Lots of hard work i am sure. I prefer perenials to bedding too and only grow a small amount of bedding in pots or gaps on the borders.

Thats a lot of daffodil bulbs there. what are you going to do with them all? Couldnt you keep some in your borders, planted between the perennials?
