Does anyone know the cheapest place to buy fleece and enviromesh?
I want to give them a try this year as germination was slow and the caterpillars ate all my brussels and cabbage!!

Thanks

Try Kays Horticulture, they have keen prices and good service.

Just a shame their website is terrible but I just pick up the phone to call them.

You may find a local allotment shop is cheapest. We sell 2.2m wide fleece at 40p/m and 2.1m wide enviromesh at £1.70/m, less for large orders. I'm thinking of setting up a website and doing mail order.

Poundland had fleece.  Dont know the measurements ....... hang on i'll check.  1 x 6 m.  Is that good ?   I don't know - never used it before.

I agree with SANDERSJ89. N A Kays are the cheapest for horticultural products, that I have found. Fleece is 30 pence a meter, 8ft canes £13.25 for 50. On our allotments, the catalogues get passed from hand to hand, then a few of us put in a combine order which arrives with in three days.

Thanks it looks like it will be Kays horticulture for me then. I have had a quick look at the site and it is terrible!! but prices seem good and if the service is as well then thats fantastic.
Unfortunatly our nearest Wilkos don't stock it!

Thanks for all you help

Strange things heppening.

I do not know whether I am going mad and thinking of a completley different link but I am convinced that yesterday I followed the Kay's link above and agreed with sandersj89 - terrible linkless text pages and limited range - but good prices for what I could see.  Today I decided to order a catalogue - followed my links in favourites and it now looks like an alright site with pictures links and online ordering.  Have also checked  sandersj89's and it is the same.

Please help  ???

I spotted something called wondermesh, which looke like it might be a bit cheaper than enviromesh.

I had a bit of luck the other day, fleece from focus-do-it-all, 17p per meter, I didn't race back and get any more as I was convinced they had priced it wrong! :o Might go back and check next week though  ;D
