got my onion sets   sturon   from kings to day, can i plant in feb or is this to early?   should i wait till march

It would be to early here kev you need the ground warmish you need to make a hole with your thumb  with no resistance thats how i judge it, And it does not matter what part of the country cover with a fleeze every night to protect the young shots April to begining of may  watch for that last frost that no one expects .

You can start them off in cells in a cold greenhouse then out into a frame for planting out in March...  :)

Weather permitting early to mid March, I'm going to stagger mine, if you put them in when its too cold they just sit there and sulk, others that go in later soon catch them up.    ;D ;D ;D
