We are looking forward to it too.

She's very knowledgable, enthusiastic and good to watch.  She's prepared to get he hands dirty, which some female presenters are not. ;D

Her science of gardening slots were - for me - the highlight of the series.

Alimo

I know she's not everyone's cup of tea, but I really like her.

Really enjoyed it- real gardening, and doing it all herself. I was tired just watching her! Looking forward to the next one.

grannyjanny

Really enjoyed the first one. OH did too. Praise indeed. I think I might get the book.

grawrc

I really enjoyed it too. What an enormous garden she has - and what enormous energy!

grannyjanny

Do you think if we had both our hips replaced we would be doing the same?

InfraDig

I would usually say that I find her "enthusiasm" a bit wearing. I was also surprised to discover that her (non-veg) garden is actually quite small (though a lot bigger than mine!!). The cameras seem to add a lot more depth somehow. It was also a bit bedraggled. What she is doing in this prgramme is what the garden seemed to need. I really enjoyed the programme and her efforts.

Tin Shed

I enjoyed it as well - it wasn't the usual instant make over type programme.
A slight digression from gardening.....what breed of dogs were they?

garrett

Oh, those dogs are cute! I was wondering the same.

I enjoyed the show very much and like her hands-on approach.

GrannieAnnie

Wish we could get it in the USA.

Grannieannie,

You can watch it on the 'BBC I player' like I have to after the finish of my night shift.
Hope it is as good as the write ups are about the programme.

Got them back now to put some tread on them

I admire her but thought the programme ok ish but what was good was seeing a garden in winter when it isn't at its best, that really could be very interesting especially as it wasn't a typical 'makeover' programme

It says I'll have to download "ExPatShield" first and then that warned me it could damage my computer.  I'll have to consult my tech support (13 year old grandson)
