Have made many cakes, but never really tried decorating by making models. This is my first attempt! Am actually pretty pleased. Will have to keep practising as I am planning to make our wedding cake next year.

That's brilliant!  I bet you could do one with a model scarecrow on top!

Talent eh!. Now how did I know that you would suggest a scarecrow Squash
When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

Brill,

I can make them and eat them. But the decorating is the house and not cakes.
Keep up the excellent work, I think you may have found a new venture in life.

Got them back now to put some tread on them

Well done.

You might like to look at Debbie Browns site for ideas. I have all her books.

Well I am fond of Real Pony Toy cake and I normally makes this on special occasions like Christmas and Easters. I make winding "cobblestone" path of jellybeans or Chiclets gum on one end of the Cake . On the Other side, I keep it simple with some Mango jelly spread over.

Well done. If you are interested in cake decorating I would recommend this site

You don't need to be a member of the British Sugarcraft guild to join the board. The people on there are amazing at giving help and you will pick up more hints and tips than you dreamed of.

Great precision work, Sparkly- everything is so even and exact!
I should think a white wedding cake would be easier than this one.
