First piccie is just coming up "No image available" Jerry but the other two are lovely. Mind haven't opened yet but it looks as though they won't be long.  :D

Life is like nectar sweet but sometimes sticky.

Plocket

Oh they are beautiful pictures. My pale hellebores haven't flowered yet (will they ever?) but the ones in bloom now are the dark colour of the last photo you've shown. They are lovely aren't they?

Real value for money.

All this talk about Hellebores prompted me to order the RHS paperback. £8 & quite a nice little book.

44 colour plates, but I'm going to print off yours & Eric's etc & add them to the book. They're even better than the pro ones.

Thought you might like to see a selection of self sown ones from in the Plum Tree border. The originals came from seed from Will Mclewin who is one of the leading Hellebore breeders.
Collected at 2.45 pm today in  bright warm Sunshine.

'Squisite! The pinky ones are the ones Pat wants - can they be identified?

She says how about doing a greetings card out of that photo!

Palustris

All one can do is collect seed from the best colours, but they are very mixed so what you get is what you get. I have potted up a lot od seedlings from underneath the plum coloured ones.
Not into card sending or making, but if you want a full sized copy I can email you one and you can use it as you will.

Would love one, Eric. Thanks. = Tim

Now you can see the individual flowers from the collection.

Wonderfull

I love helebores. Only got two flowering plants at the moment, but i have loads of 1 yr old seedlings (self sown from original plants) i am growing on to plant around the garden (yes i know i have to wait until they are 3yrs old before they flower  :) ) . I also have a couple of new ones coming soon from T&M,  - a special offer with a bedding plant order.

So I shall soon have more to enjoy at this time of year!

;D ;D ;D
