Congratulations from me too Mr. & Mrs. Windygale on your 'special' anniversay yesterday - and what a lovely way to spend it - hope your little grand-daughter continues to want to 'help' grandad in the greenhouse & garden. I loved helping my Grandad when I was little (millions of years ago) and found his shed one of the most exciting places to be.....

I'm hoping that this year, I shall sometimes be able to take my 7 year old grandson to my lottie as he seems quite interested in 'how things grow' and loves to help his Daddy (my youngest son) when he's in the garden. He and his younger sister do grow sunflowers & strawberries in their flower borders.

Well done, WGs - enjoy every moment!

Our great good fortune was when No. 4 (younger daughter) moved in next door 9 years ago & produced 3 boys! No, not out of a hat!

It's been like watching plants grow week by week - they work in London. We feel very privileged & suffer withdrawal symptoms when they miss a week. = Tim

CONGRATULATIONS to Mr. & Mrs. WG ;D

Know what you mean about having the grandchild helping you - brings back memories of when my grandson used to do just that.  Make the most of her, they grow up all too quickly - mine is now 17 years old :) :)

Happy gardening all...........Pat

Congratulations Mr and Mrs Windy on your Silver Annivrsary!  Our youngest grandaughter is 4 (we have 5 altogether  from 21 down) and we are told she is the last - boohoo  :'( Children are always a joy but grandchildren are a privilege!!
Equality isn't everyone being the same, equality is recognising that being different is normal.

I don't have any grandchildren  :'( but I love hearing about other peoples.  :) Have you got any photographs of her - oh, and what's her name? Sounds as though you have a future A4A member there.   ;) ;)
