If it's not pouring with rain, I'm either in the garden or at the lottie! Probably still there in the rain as well TBH....🥴

Prawn cocktail, only thing from allotment was toms.  Pots and my 15 sprouts (from allotment) with minty lamb chops, mint in potatoes from allotment.  Mum used to make me eat Brussel tops (but mine had a lot of white fly on, so have left them).  Carrots I am ashamed to say bought at Morrisons.  Have got a lovely vase of Dahlias on the table, from an allotment friend.  ;D ;D ;D  All prepared but will cook it soon.  Then pancakes, but the man with the chickens didn't give me any eggs.  :( :( :( (Only joking). Made a very passable cake from a rather large round courgette that has been kicking around for a while. Made it to a carrot cake recipe and added sultanas. Tasty.

Ooh... recipe please?.... Back in the heady days of "courgette surprise" I'd have killed for that....wonder if it would work with squash?....  we ate the last of the courgettes today....along with some potatos in the mash and an onion in the gravy.....
