After a year of illness which stopped all work on the lottie I decided to rip everything out and start again.  Here are the results of first weeks work. I am now waiting for some bark to be delivered for the paths.

So pleased that you are getting back to your plot
When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

Justy

Even a monkey's going to end up typing out the Bible if you leave him at work long enough! Think of all the gigabytes of code Microcrap have churned out; they were bound to get something right eventually, by sheer chance.

looks great, alot of hard work.
what have you made the raised beds out off?

;D ;D
6.5 rod plot in southampton, just me and my 2yr old son, hehe

Justy

They are pallet 'toppers'. They stack together on top of pallets to make a crate as high as you need it.  I was lucky enough to be given about 30 of them! I have given some away and then used the rest.  They are really easy as you just open them up (they fold flat), stick the metal corner spikes in the ground and voila - instant raised bed!  The hardest (and most expensive) part is filling them.  I am digging over the bottom of the 'bed' and then filling up with compost (from the tip!)

Well done you! Looks great 8)

Wow, you have worked miracles. Really looking great.

Justy

Thank you everyone. I must admit I am very proud as I have done it all on my own and in only a week so far. It has helped that I have not been at work this week so have been able to devote everyday to it. Still loads to do though. I want to put a little pond in and I have made a long brick edged bed today for raspberries.

Wow, I'm impressed (& a tad jealous!). I have some time off work now & am hoping to get a noticeable improvement on our plot, but can't imagine doing that much! Well done!
