I saw a repeat a few years later - unforgettable.

I remember it, shows my age, and I believed it.  Think they should show it again on TV for the youngsters who haven't seen it.  Brilliant.

i have never seen this but can see the humour  :D but to show to now a days kids would make thing even worse remember there are many kids now a days that don't know where basic fruits and vege come from ::), could you imagine the chaos it would cause ;D.

Very good, not sure what year it was done. I also remember an april fools joke that was done on a program called nationwide. It was about a laboratory that had bred dinosaurs. Think it must have been in the seventy's

think i might have to grow some upsidedown carrots this year and see who falls for it

The programme was called The Herbs and all the characters had the names of herbs. The dog was called Dill. "I'm Dill the dog, I chase my tail".
