Hi everyone just to let you all know that I haven't dissapeared. My Mom was taken into hospital a week ago and haven't really been able to put me mind to anything. The allotment has had to go on hold for a while, therefore haven't had much to talk about.I was told yesterday that she has MRSA. and will be staying in hospital until she's better.I don't need to tell you all how I feel cos you all know how difficult it was for us to let her go into a home last September. Everyone keeps telling me that we did the right thing but I still think "what if".
When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

Shirl, reality check here, me lovely :-\......had she been at home with you, she would still have succumbed to the illness which put her in hospital in the first place. And that's where she's contracted MRSA :(

Now then, gal....go visit your mum, spend what time you can with her, come home - and open the rosso and drink to her health 8)

And then have another ::) but the toast this time will be to yourself and Hunky Tone. As families go, she's got the pick of the best in you two :-*

Went to see Mom today and we told her about all the good wishes that we had for her. She was really happy. She then went on to tell us about the doctor who had been dancing with her.LOL. I'm sure she makes these stories up just to entertain us. She did seem a little better today. Thanks again for the support

Moms still in till Thursday. They have a problem with the trots on the other half of the ward so keeping fingers crossed it doesn't spread or we won't be able to visit.
