I put both the twins names down but only got 1 so they will have to share. They will probably have more fun with the stickers and Ben their older brother can have the seeds. Thye will probably make the bee hotel as well. Not bad for a freebie and it helps get the kids to learn about wildlife
When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

If you want bees, try fiddleneck (Phacelia tanacetifolia). You'll get swarms. Oh, and I also find both coriander and hyssop very attractive to bees and butterflies like the hyssop.  :)

Do you think I could mix these seeds with soil and just sow on top of grass? I have an area under an enormous conifer, where I have left uneaten bird seed to germinate. Some flowers in amongst the grasses would look great!

why not try sowing them as plug plants to plant in the area when they are a little bigger.

they don't have to be individually sown either just a small pinch of seed into individual cells or pots or whatever you have at hand then when they are big enough harden off and plant out (you could even sow them in the pots/ cells, etc and leave outside to germinate so you don't then have to go through the hardening off process).

Now why didn't I think of that!  ::) Thanks for that suggestion, will post some photos, hopefully of a small wild area, with flowers!
