Allotments 4 All

I found out today that I've been accepted on to the Phd programme at Cardiff University!!  ;D ;D  For a mature student bringing up two kids alone, I think this is a fab achievement and I intend to pat myself on the back whilst simultaneously typing my disseration and drinking a large bottle of wine - how's that for multi-tasking lol.  Not got the funding yet, but I'm entering into the studentship competition which I should get results of in mid March.  Yippee!!!!!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D

Thanks guys.  Having now recovered from the shock and euphoria, it has now dawned on me that I have less than two weeks to refine my proposal and get it in! On top of my disseration presentation! EEEEKKKK.  Ah well, sleep's over-rated!

As for topic - it's a mixture of social policy and education relating to mature students and impact that certain benefit criteria changes will have on them.  The rest is top secret lol  ;D
