Hard frost this morning, then some sun (when I was busy and could not get outside), then drizzle, drizzle, drizzle

As above, except for the drizzle (so far - fingers crossed!)

Snow started again just before 8a.m.   and continued through the morning.  Had another few inches.  Schools closed.  Doubt I will be able to get the car out the drive unless I get help.

Ipswich ...... was frosty this morning but bright and sunny with a lovely blue sky and birds singing.  This afternoon was overcast.   The stream on our allotments was flowing fast, it had burst its banks on Wednesday and flooded part of our car park but its gone down now.

Hard frost and a sprinkling of snow this morning. Cold during the day, rain and sleet later. At least the snow's gone.

Got off lightly yesterday evening compared to much of North Yorkshire. Had some snow around teatime but it turned to rain and the roads are clear and ice-free this morning and it's sunny but cold. Don't know about you,but I'm pleased to hear that's the last of the snow for now.

Hyacinth

In S Birmingham I woke up to see the green green grass of home and the brown brown soil of my plotty 8) 8) Massive thaw overnight. And there's sun in a blue sky.

I am SO excited! It's going to be a good day ;D

thifasmom

well they did predict heavy snowfalls overnight with light rain in the wee early hours of the morning, and thats exactly what we got, which meant slushy roads and pavements on the school run >:(. not much sun expected today so not sure how quickely it will melt away, hopefully it will be gone by the time the night time freezing temps arrive so everything doesn't then turn to ice.
