He was due on Boxing Day but at last, baby Jack decided to arrive this afternoon. I hope his lateness is not a taste of things to come!

Mother and baby are both fine but exhausted, dad and grandpa excited and a little dazed by it all. I'm going to start cooking as I doubt that they'll have time to think about proper food in the next few days.
