Woohoo! Snowmen all round!

What's the difference between snow men & snow women?

went up to the allotment. Battery on car dead. Like an idiot cycled up. Didn't wear any gloves and the zip on my jacket is broken. Got there any couldn't feel my appendages. Broke into John's shed to find anything to dry myself. Pinched pair of gardening gloves. Picked Lima beans. Came home. Ditto appendages. You know when your hands are so cold you want to run them under the hot tap, but then you just know it would be total agony? Stopped snowing now

Snow men never ask for directions when they're lost, and snow women have more pairs of shoes than they'll ever need

No snow here, Had to be up the Doctors by 8.30am looked out the window and we had a very heavy frost. Never mind..I have got de-icer in the glove compartment, what did I find? a can of OUST that I spray in the back section of the car where the dog lays but no de-icer. That will teach me to put the car in the garage :)

Snow has gone now - but was very wintry about 5 pm in Brum as I drove home. Love the drama in the UK a flurry of snow causes  ;D

Watched the news and they had a special on the snow from highways agency HQ. Presenter having driven especially across for a on location report. You could see the presenters disappointment when she had to report the snow turned to rain with little problems forecast for the roads, she visibly cheered when she could report potential of black ice as temps dropped.......dramatic pauses.  :o Highways Agency advice - be prepared (borrowed from the scout movement I think?) 8)

Must say its the first time I have heard gritters described as winter service vehicles. Apparently the councils in Brum had been told to get them out...NOW. I believe that was the "gritters" anything else would be too much in the cold.   :o

Started snowing about an our ago - and is still drifting down, beleive it or not it's quite thick !

Can hear a lot of laughter outside, so people are out there enjoying it all - may not be there in the morning - will say it looks a picture out there.

Thats all from downtown Hatfield - Herts
