A sad day for me as my allotment neighbour Bernard as decided to call it a day,i will miss his good advice and tales of days long gone. :'( :'( :( :(

Best wishes to Bernard!  He sounds like a very nice guy.  He'll miss his gardening, though, just as his fellow allotment holders will miss him.

our Eric has given up 2/3rds of his plot to two new couples..he's just kept his fruit area on as his wife has alzheimers and he's 84  :-\
still, we managed to keep him on site  ;D
