Allotments 4 All

A sad day for me as my allotment neighbour Bernard as decided to call it a day,i will miss his good advice and tales of days long gone. :'( :'( :( :(

It's always sad when a long-time allotmenteer decides to call it a day.

Best wishes to Bernard!  He sounds like a very nice guy.  He'll miss his gardening, though, just as his fellow allotment holders will miss him.

Hope he will still vist to give the newbies advice.Can't let all that experience go. :)

our Eric has given up 2/3rds of his plot to two new couples..he's just kept his fruit area on as his wife has alzheimers and he's 84  :-\
still, we managed to keep him on site  ;D

I hope Bernard will keep coming to see us all if only to cut his hedge. :)

and that's a smashing hedge indeed. Nice to remember him by.
