when is summer over for you

hi all,in my house summer is over when i drain my pool (today).Starting to feel S.A.D already.

When the schools go back is the beginning of the end. But when the Proms are over Summer's well & truly gone!

Autumn digging, seed catalogues & making Christmas cards from then on....

When I was tecahing it was always the end of the school holidays. This year I think it will be when my daughter goes back to uni :( A couple more weeks to go.

On an average year I'd say end of September.  This year...................I'm still waiting!

When the kids go back to school, the vine in my back yard turns red & I have to switch the heating on.

All happened on the same day this year .. last Wednesday  :'(
