There will be a GW special hosted by Carol Klein - subject: The History of Women in Gardening

Watch out for us women on our allotments!

It was mostly filmed on my allotment (all the interviews anyway) and there may be footage of my chickens and me delicately plucking runner beans with filthy hands!

The BBC are jolly good sports actually. They even treated us to a party - barbeque on the lottie and free wine.

I ended up in the flower bed in my garden as a consequence with a teensy weensy black eye  ::) I'm after Carol for compensation. My cosmos are completely squashed .....

Pleeease can you remind us so we don't miss it, it sounds really interesting and of course your tales of your allotment and lottie mates are wonderul so I will be looking forward to watching this.

What were you wearing when they filmed Trixiebelle?  It'll make it easier to spot you.  Won't ask you what chicks were wearing.......   By the way, Happy Birthday

Twinkle! Thanks for the birthday wishes but it's not until 19th!

What was I wearing? Erm .... well ... I used to wear designer clothes and go nightcubbing, but these days I shop at the Army Surplus stores and make jam  ::)

I am the rather overweight one with the ruddy red face and khaki tee-shirt  ::)

Im looking forward to watching it, Im sure you will be the star of the show Trixie. What's Carol like then, Ive heard different stories. I can imagine she is just as she is on TV.

Oh, well you are certainly in the lead role then. And who better anyway........I bet it was bedlam at your site for a while. I wonder if they will replace your cosmos? :D

Can't wait, Trix- shame you didn't get to meet Carol, though- you could have compared dirty hands! I think of all the GW presenters she's the one I'd most like to meet.
